Griffith University’s Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, offered through Open Universities Australia, is a broad-based social science degree examining crime, the criminal justice system and related social issues. This course focuses on the causes of crime and society’s response to crime. It will give you a well-rounded perspective on the various arms of the justice system and the relationships between them. You will graduate with a professional qualification in the field of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for Commonwealth support, you must be:
  • An Australian citizen residing in Australia for all or part of your studies; OR
  • A New Zealand citizen who will be residing in Australia for the duration of your study; OR
  • The holder of a permanent visa who will be residing in Australia for the duration of your study

To be eligible for Commonwealth support for this course, you must also meet the following requirements:

  • At least 4 OUA Undergraduate units or equivalent, with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0

Please note:You can still enrol and pay for your units via FEE-HELP or an upfront payment if you are not eligible for CSP.
