Duration Study Load
With three 12-week teaching periods each year, our accelerated trimester model lets you complete your degree in just one year, helping you graduate faster and begin your creative career with confidence.
Delivery
The course will be delivered in-person at our light-filled campus in Collingwood for our February intake. Each trimester is themed to build up your creative practice, so whether you are starting as a beginner or have dabbled in creativity, we will work with you to build up your skills.
The course will be available as an online offering from our June 2026 intake.
Entry Requirements
For entry into the course, students must:
Satisfactorily complete Australian Year 12, or an equivalent qualification.
Complete an Admission Consultation
ATAR scores are not used in the consideration of your application. Unscored VCE and VCE VM (or equivalent) are accepted for entry.
Students must be 18+ years of age at the commencement of the course.
Course Features
This accelerated course offers real-world, hands-on experience from day one. More than half of the units take place in a studio environment, allowing you to create alongside experienced mentors for the majority of your studies.
Assessment
Assessments vary but will include presentations, portfolios, essays and case studies. There are no formal exams as part of the course.
Materials
A list of required materials (e.g., for manual drawing) is provided at the beginning of each trimester. Any additional standard or student-licensed software required will requested by mentors.
Learners are responsible for organising and purchasing materials for final designs.
