Course Overview

The Diploma of Logistics equips students with the skill and knowledge to plan and select appropriate equipment, services and techniques, participate in the development of strategic initiatives, perform complex technical operations, and group or team coordination.

Successful completion of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements. This course gives you a thorough understanding of the sector and will prepare you for a career in logistics, including roles in warehousing, road transport and freight forwarding.

Additional Information

Any student who enrols from 1 January 2017 will have access to the VET Student Loans program, which is replacing the current VET FEE-HELP scheme. This is a new vocational education and training student loans program, provided to give eligible students access to quality higher level VET qualifications, particularly to those students who could not otherwise afford to pay upfront.

This training is delivered with the support of VET Fee Help, a Commonwealth loan scheme. VET FEE-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme that assists eligible students to pay their tuition fees for higher-level VET courses. A 20% loan fee may apply. Students are required to repay this loan through the taxation system. VET Fee Help loans will impact a student’s credit rating.
CSQ funding is available for this course to assist workers and employers in the construction industry in Queensland to attain, upgrade or gain recognition for industry specific skills.
