Students are dependable
Students have a variety of costs – rent, uni textbooks, bills, transport etc. It’s a high risk situation, relying on centrelink or parents for funds, which is why so many students are looking for work. Because they need the work, they have a positive attitude and are more likely to pay attention to things like performance reviews, and listen to constructive criticism since they don’t yet have the self confidence in their work to just not turn up or not work hard.
