The Victorian Government has just announced the remaining 10 priority courses that will be fee-free next year.
It was revealed on May 1st in the 2018 Victorian State Budget that the Vic Government will be putting $172 million towards funding education. The aim of this fee free scheme was created to fill the state’s skills shortage.
The initiative has been created in order to fill the industry gaps that are prominent within vital skills areas in Victoria. This Free TAFE Scheme will begin on the 1st of January, 2019.
On the 16st of August, leader of the Labor party Premier Daniel Andrews confirms ten more priority TAFE courses that will be fee-free, commencing next year.
