Global obesity levels are reaching alarming proportions, so it’s a very good time to plan ahead and consider that demand for physical fitness trainers is going to go through the roof. Australia is one of the richest sporting nations in the world, which means that anyone who wants to study fitness has a number of sports and fitness courses from a number of schools, institutes and associations to choose from.
Aspiring sports and fitness trainers and instructors are spoilt for choice when it comes to qualifications, as they can opt to study full time in classroom settings or part-time with nationally accredited online courses. Remember, however, that all fitness courses (whether they be certificates, diplomas or degrees) have a practical requirement.
