Bunbury For Students
Bunbury has a Mediterranean climate similar to that of Perth. It tends not to get too hot or cold. The rainiest months are from May to August.
Bunbury has a good public transport system that will get students wherever they need to go. Cycling is also always encouraged – provided you wear a helmet.
Bunbury is also full of fun things to see and do. One of the biggest attractions is the Dolphin Discovery Centre, and the great thing for students is that it’s affordable. The Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre showcases live theatre, music, dance, films, and circuses and just about anything else performance- and entertainment-related. You can stock up on fresh produce at the monthly Boyanup & Districts Farmers’ Market, which is every fourth Sunday of the month.
Get your fill of nature in Tuart Forest, Jarrah Forest, and the many parks and gardens in the city, such as Queens Gardens, Big Swamp Play Ground, Rocky Point, Manea Park, and Wellington Dam.
