About Health Services
Certificate III (HLT33115) is a health service assistance course designed for workers in a range of work roles which assist health professional staff with the care of clients. A health services assistance course will cover essential health service frameworks and practical learnings utilised by industry professionals in acute care and the current public health care sector. You’ll learn to perform a range of tasks and gain knowledge of infection control and prevention, medical terminology, workplace health and safety (WHS) and more.
Course fees and entry requirements can vary depending on domestic and international students. Current students who some have recognition of prior learning (RPL) related to HLT33115 Certificate III may wish to use credit points or engage in elective units or further study such as Certificate IV.
If you choose to enrol at other Registered Training Organisations (RTO) such as TAFE, payment plans to avoid a full upfront fee may be available. Government funding is also available, including for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
