Course Overview
Our CHC40321 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention prepares learners for meaningful roles in child protection, family support, and youth services, where trauma-informed practice, strong communication, and genuine compassion contribute to positive outcomes for children and families.
This nationally recognised qualification reflects the real needs of child and family services across government departments, community organisations, and out-of-home care settings. Learners will develop the skills to assess risk, support families in crisis, apply trauma-informed approaches, and work within legal and ethical frameworks designed to protect Australia’s most vulnerable children and young people.
