But while the topic of climate is hot, let’s not forget about the evil twin of global warming – the plastic pollution crisis. It’s one of the most important and urgent environmental issues of our time.

Global plastic production has skyrocketed since the year 2000, and 91% of it is never recycled. Half of all plastics ever made were created in the last 15 years. It’s poisoning the oceans, harming marine animals and putting dangerous chemicals in our bloodstreams.
