Demand for early childhood education and care workers continues to grow across Australia, with qualified educators needed to support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in approved early learning settings.
The CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is a nationally recognised qualification for those looking to build on their skills and move into more senior responsibilities within the sector. This course supports students to develop the knowledge needed to plan, implement and manage programs in early childhood services, in line with regulatory, duty of care and quality requirements.
Students complete the theory component online with Kirana Colleges, supported by dedicated trainer and student support, and undertake a minimum of 280 hours of practical work placement in an approved early childhood education and care setting. The Diploma may support pathways into roles such as Lead Educator, Room Leader, Family Day Care Educator or Children’s Services Coordinator, depending on experience and service requirements.
