Course Overview
The Dual CHC30125 Certificate III and CHC50125 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is designed for students who want to enter the early childhood education sector and build a pathway toward more senior career opportunities.
The Certificate III provides the foundational qualification needed to work, or be working towards work, in a regulated early childhood education and care service. The Diploma builds on this foundation by developing the skills and knowledge needed to plan, implement and manage programs that support children’s learning, development, wellbeing and safety.
This nationally recognised dual qualification may support career pathways into roles such as Early Childhood Educator, Lead Educator, Room Leader, Family Day Care Educator, Nominated Supervisor or Centre Manager, depending on experience and service requirements.

Entry Requirements
Early Childhood Education and Care qualifications consist of a range of practical tasks and in order to meet workplace experience and job role expectations, students should be physically, mentally and emotionally healthy to meet duty of care obligations
There are no course requirements for this qualification, but it is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent
